Environment

Our beautifully made prints and frames wouldn’t exist without the natural materials that originate from our forests, so sustainability is very close to our hearts

DROOL art Environment impact

We constantly strive to improve our production process to actively reduce our waste and impact on the environment through an environmentally friendly and ethically sound approach

Eco-credentials

Local fulfilment
We aim to make global printing, local. With the international shipping industry being responsible for more than 2% of carbon emissions globally (this figure is growing rapidly) we are utilising technology and a network of print manufacturers and distributors across the world to automatically route orders to the nearest manufacturing facility as determined by the customer’s address. So we can individually fulfill each order as close to the customer as possible

Eco inks

Water-based inks offer an alternative to PVC inks that don’t contain all the toxic chemicals of its plastisol counterparts. Instead, it’s comprised of naturally occurring substances. No harmful solvents are required for clean up which reduces toxic waste

Neo-Pigment inks (water-based) are 100% non-hazardous, toxin-free and completely vegan friendly. They meet the strictest industry standards as defined by Oeko-Tex 100 safety applications for infant wear, Global Organic Textiles (GTOTS-3V), Residues Standard List (RSL) and the American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists

Eco-solvent inks come from ether extracts taken from refined mineral oil. While they still contain some harmful solvents, they have a lower VOC content than normal solvent inks and are significantly less hazardous

Sustainably sourced wood and paper

FSC approved printing
FSC-certified forests are managed with consideration for people, wildlife and the environment. They are independently audited to ensure they meet the FSC’s Principles and Criteria for Forest Management

Recycled content
Our products and packaging contain a significant proportion of recycled material
