This role:
DROOL is a London-based startup that’s on the hunt for a well-rounded designer who’s excited by the prospect of getting stuck into all sorts of projects, from creating marketing ad assets to designing artwork posters… and everything in between

You’ll have a meticulous eye for detail and nerd out on all things creative. Your instinct will be on point and you’ll be able to consistently come up with new and exciting design executions, while also respecting wider brand guidelines and needs. If you’re comfortable rolling up your sleeves and getting things done, you’ll fit in

Opportunity & responsibilities:
– Work closely with the marketing team to create slick and engaging designs for our social channels that maximize reach and engagement
– Create unique, in-house designs for artwork prints and posters
– Edit framed artworks into interior photos to create hyper-realistic mockups
– Create visual concepts and retouch images to ensure they meet web and social media standards
– Make artwork files print-ready and carry out proof checking prior to professional photo and art printing
– Design templates and adhoc assets to support blog articles and weekly email newsletters
– Create bespoke lead-story assets and design executions that constantly surprise our community and push the boundary of what content in this space can be
– Identify opportunities (seasonal & trend-driven) to create DROOL merchandise
– Enjoy using data to iterate and optimise designs across all customer touchpoints

Skills and experience:
– 3+ years relevant experience in-house or at an agency
– A stand-out portfolio that demonstrates your creative ability and imaginative mindset
– Highly proficient in working with Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator in particular)
– Experience working with CMS
– A passion for the arts, creative industry and all things design
– Capable of keeping commercial objectives and the ‘bigger picture in mind when designing
– Ability to multitask in a fast-paced company
– Happy to take feedback, develop or re-working ideas to meet the needs of a brief

Desirable skills:
– Video editing and motion design
